TLC Youth Recreation Program

Throughout the school year, TLC runs an afterschool program from 3:00 pm to 5:45 pm, Monday to Friday.  The enrolled youth come straight from school to Kitsilano Community Centre.  The youth participate in several fun and challenging activities that promote independent and group planning, positive peer relationships and much more!  Examples of activities include, bowling, swimming, cooking, arts and crafts, group games and sports.

 During Summer, Winter, and Spring break holidays, TLC runs full day programs from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday. These holiday programs are full of excellent activites and out trips to various locations around the city.  Examples of the activities range from hiking, canoeing, Grouse Mountain, Playland, Watermania, and much, much more! 

By engaging in various activites within different settings, we hope to provide the youth with a greater awareness of the resources available to them.
